Submitted by urbanteck on Fri, 04/24/2009 - 5:41pm
Short Description:

The race to the White House in 2008 was a watershed moment in American and world history.
Our interactive workshop will analyze and deconstruct the Obama campaign into its primary components in order to develop a structural understanding of its functioning. Then we will identify tools and skill-sets young activists can use in their communities for social change. There will be an emphasis on how young organizers can harness their personal stories and experiences, using media, to develop transformational experiences.
