This workshop examines the core of any successful campaign, its narrative, and presents a road map on how grassroots organizations can build the framework for their own success by tapping into shared narratives in the progressive movement. The session, lead by Tony Stephens of The Opportunity Agenda, lays forth both research findings and best practices on strategic messaging and narratives, as well as giving attendees hands-on experience at crafting their own engaging messages.

Tony Stephens, from The Opportunity Agenda, has been engaged for over 15 years with the media, working with various public interest groups. His expertise lies on strategic message design and electronic media. Prior to this, Stephens worked as a consultant and spent seven years in formation for the priesthood.
