In Collaboration with NYC Grassroots Media Coalition and Crow Hill Community Association... A Community Celebration! Wednesday, June 9th, 7:00 - 8:30 pm LaunchPad, 721 Franklin Avenue, Brooklyn, NY (Between Park Place and Sterling Place) We are 5 students from Paul Robeson High School. We have interviewed more than 45 people who have lived in Crown Heights for over 15 years, to learn more about the history of our changing community.LISTEN to our favorite stories. • RECOGNIZE residents with history in Crown Heights. • CELEBRATE the donation of our interviews to libraries, schools and organizations. • FREE and open to the public! January 30th, 2010: Remix My Podcast, 2.0

NYC Grassroots Media Coalition in collaboration with MediaClectic Present:
Remix My Podcast, 2.0 Join us for an extended version of one of our most popular conference sessions in this 3 hour workshop on creating a podcast and building your web presence.
Learn about audio tricks and tools of the trade and how to create a space for yourself online with Andreas Jackson of MediaClectic, with additional resources from Radical Reference.
Afterward, we'll cap off the evening by opening up the group to a networking hour for those interested in grassroots media and social justice.
